You will first need to sign up to Wildiaries to create your diary page. Being by choosing the site you want to join (e.g. from the list at http://home.wildiaries.com). If you would like a wildiaries site for another location and animal group, let us know at wildiaries@gmail.com.
Click "sign up for a free account" in the turquoise box at the top right hand corner of the page:

Fill in the requested information, then click "sign up". An email will be sent, almost instantly, that asks you to confirm subscription. If you do not receive the email confirmation, it will be because either your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or your email software has put it into a SPAM folder. Please check your SPAM folder first. If you have any further problems, email us as wildiaries@gmail.com.

Adding Sightings and Images
Once you've created your trip in your diary, adding sightings lists and images is easy. This quick video tutorial shows you how to do this.
Don't forget, you can come back and modify trips at any point. It is often useful to add in extra complexity later. So if you don't have time, just start simple. One of the great advantages of Wildiaries is multiple image upload.

Embedding Latest Trips in Your Own Website or Blog
You can embed the latest trips from the Wildiaries home page or your own latest trips from any given Wildiaries site in your website. This is done using "iframe" code. Click on the button "Embed Latest Trips in Your Blog" to get the code. For instructions how to do this, you will need to consult the help menu for your blog site. For example, in "Blogger" it is a simple matter of clicking on "Customise" then "Add a Gadget", choosing "HTML/Text" then embedding the code. You may need to modify the width and height in pixels within the code to suit your own website.
